BRAZILIAN PLAYMAKER FACING WEST HAM EXIT

West Ham United are prepared to cancel the final year of Brazilian playmaker Felipe Anderson’s contract at the club according to the report from media outlet Hitc. This is in a bid for the player to join Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray.

It has been reported that Galatasaray are eyeing a summer move for the player and the Hammers are determined to make things work at a faster pace with the decision taken to cancelhis contract at the club. The interest of Galatasaray in Felipe Anderson was revealed by Turkish media portal Sabah.

Felipe Anderson earns £80,000 on a weekly basis at West Ham United and the East Londoners want to get his salary off their wage bill this summer. He spent this season on loan at Portuguese giants FC Porto but was unable to discover his form having joined the club last summer.

The Brazilian international signed for the Hammers three years ago in a big money transfer from Lazio in the Italian Serie A. He had a very good debut season with West Ham United but was unable to replicate it last season. He was in and out of the team under current manager David Moyes last season.

Moyes returned to the club in the middle of last season in the place of the sacked Manuel Pellegrini with the Hammers facing relegation but the Scotsman was able to rescue them with a few games to go.

Former Everton and Real Sociedad boss Moyes has been able to take the Hammers to the next level with the club almost certain to play European football next season. The Hammers are in sixth position ahead of the final day of the season. Sixth place guarantees Europa League football.
